Emergence is the great I AM making parts into wholes, and small things into big things that leaf, people, and christify into the field of time from quantum fluctuations of the vacuum in empty space. Such evolves over deep time via a complex creative process whose signature and identity are expressed in a simple icon, and via a universal energy common to all cultures at all scales, quark to quasar. Whoso names that icon and energy at once solves the mystery of mysteries, tells the new universe story, and fulfills Teilhard’s mystical vision.
The dream of God is for wholeness and unity. Rather than wait passively to see this happen decade by decade, I feel called to contribute my little bit to make this happen, as I believe Jesus urged. Now is the appropriate time to love my neighbors and enemies, heal the sick people and other creatures within my scope.
We are blessed to have one life, which can be considered as both biological and cosmic.
