Julie Ann Stevens is an artist and facilitator of new arisings. Her mission is to use the creative process to facilitate healing and wholeness.
Julie started painting in 2010 shortly after leaving a role in marketing at a Global Human Resources Consulting Firm. Building on her journalism background and early creative pursuits in photography and poetry, she works primarily with acrylic and gesso on canvas or wood panel.
A student of the Christian Contemplative tradition, her elegant, peace-invoking yet prophetic style has been described as contemporary iconography — a mix of the presence of light and shadows with sacred patterns and layers of vivid colors.
Drawing on more than 25 years in corporate marketing communication, meeting design & facilitation, and personal health and relationship transformations, Julie skillfully and artfully creates a space for others to explore their inner lives with grace and compassion.
