The Heart Matter- The Convergence of Divine Love

Tuesday, October 25, 2022
“Not to include death and resurrection is to miss out on what is thoroughly universal, the power of divine Love to converge; humanity, cosmos, and God are united in a single personal center of love, that is the risen Christ.”
Ilia Delio’s, The Unbearable Wholeness of Being

“Prescindir de la muerte y la resurrección es perdernos lo que es completamente universal, el poder del Amor divino para hacernos converger; humanidad, cosmos y Dios están unidos en un único centro personal de amor, que es Cristo resucitado”.
Ilia Delio, The Unbearable Wholeness of Being
What is being moved? What is being asked?

The Heart of Matter
A New Email Series
The Heart of Matter is a contemplative email series from the Center for Christogenesis.
Designed to deepen both the reader’s understanding and their spiritual practice, each email will focus on a passage of Ilia’s work that expands the Center’s vision, while providing practical instruction to move these insights from the head to the heart. Through sustained contemplation on the intellectual import and spiritual potency of these passages, your understanding and practice will expand.
This statement is consistent with Christian faith, in my opinion. Some of Ilia Delio’s statements do not seem as consistent to some people, who appear shocked or amused with what seems to them as heterodoxy. I can’t give examples because my knowledge of the controversy is at least second-hand. I think it may have to do with her combining advanced science with advanced Christian spirituality.
And yet advanced science so aligns with the esoteric Christianity that the desert fathers and feminine mystics so beautifully expressed.
The Forest is death, dead and dying trees, green, color signs of resurrection. How can one miss the universal meaning?
As for me life, death and resurrection is so much part of every living being. The Universal Power is alive and active all the time, a love nurturing all.
