The Heart Matter: The Convergence of Divine Love

Tuesday, October 25, 2022

“Not to include death and resurrection is to miss out on what is thoroughly universal, the power of divine Love to converge; humanity, cosmos, and God are united in a single personal center of love, that is the risen Christ.”

Ilia Delio’s, The Unbearable Wholeness of Being

“Prescindir de la muerte y la resurrección es perdernos lo que es completamente universal, el poder del Amor divino para hacernos converger; humanidad, cosmos y Dios están unidos en un único centro personal de amor, que es Cristo resucitado”.

Ilia Delio, The Unbearable Wholeness of Being

What is being moved? What is being asked?

Check out our new podcast, “Hunger for Wholeness” on Spotify.
Episode 13 was just released with Ilia Delio, Gabbi Sloan and Dr. Bruce Damer “Does our connection to the Cosmos matter?”

As for me life, death and resurrection is so much part of every living being. The Universal Power is alive and active all the time, a love nurturing all.

The Forest is death, dead and dying trees, green, color signs of resurrection. How can one miss the universal meaning?

And yet advanced science so aligns with the esoteric Christianity that the desert fathers and feminine mystics so beautifully expressed.

This statement is consistent with Christian faith, in my opinion. Some of Ilia Delio’s statements do not seem as consistent to some people, who appear shocked or amused with what seems to them as heterodoxy. I can’t give examples because my knowledge of the controversy is at least second-hand. I think it may have to do with her combining advanced science with advanced Christian spirituality.
