About Rebecca Mays (New Christophany Groups Coordinator)

Dear Christophany groups,

Hi! My name is Rebecca Mays and I am joyfully taking on the job of Christophany group coordinator.  I have been getting to know some of you since April 1 and am now wanting to know more of you and your interests.  The hope for these groups is that they can be “wellsprings” of consciousness, helping to sustain life-giving thoughts and practices that will create a collective future for our human and earth community.

For a decade now I have worked with the Dialogue Institute at Temple University where we have used community meetings each week to encourage international students studying religious pluralism to reflect on their site visits to differing religious communities.  Before that I taught a gospels class at a Quaker retreat center where we published essays on significant themes for the intersection of civil society and religion.  And before that I loved watching our daughter and son graduate from college and grad school with no loans!!

To work now with Ilia, Jillian, Kate, and Robert to keep these circles of trust growing is a sheer delight.

I hope to be talking, emailing, zooming with more of you soon.
