Celebrating a New Year:  On the Cusp of the New

We are on the cusp of a New Year. Our earth has made a complete revolution around the sun. While we mark the New Year as a temporal milestone, it fundamentally reflects a physical event - Earth completing its solar orbit. Time itself emerges from our perception of such change and movement. While the Earth’s orbital cycle is precise, our perception of this duration varies dramatically.
