Heart of Matter: “Transcendence of the Psyche”

“God is the name of the Whole of the whole, the transcendence of the psyche. God is within, as archetype, yet more than the collective unconsciousness.”

Ilia Delio, The Not-Yet God, Carl Jung, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and the Relational Whole

“Dios es el nombre de la plenitud y la trascendencia de la psique. Es cierto que Dios está dentro, como arquetipo, pero es mucho más que un producto del inconsciente colectivo.”

Ilia Delio, The Not-Yet God, Carl Jung, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and the Relational Whole

“…the structural and operative primacy – the organic integrity and vital power – of the biblical word gave way to rational philosophical structures and rational methods. Second, the participatory and experiential quality of the old Wisdom yielded to an objectivity in which participation was nearly eliminated for the sake of clarity. Third, the symbolic and metaphoric flow of the old theology was supplanted by the quasi`mechanical efficiency of rational abstraction and analysis.” Bruno Barnhart “The Future of Wisdom”

How do ‘mere’ humans acknowledge and show reverence to ‘cosmic-consciousness’ God? That same God shows and tells:”In the beginning was the Word….and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us”. There is no proper acknowledgement and reverence for the cosmic without inclusion of all the is made of, limited to, the mundane, human and the human condition.
