Creating a Group
WHO
Invite one or more persons in your circles, on social media or by contacting us directly at info@christogenesis.org.
WHERE
Determine meeting location, whether physical or on a live online platform (Zoom, Skype, etc.) .
WHEN
Determine how often you want to meet. Some groups choose to meet once a month, others bi-monthly.
WHAT
Choose material by group consensus: books, articles, videos etc. listed on New Creation. Read it individually for reflection before the group sharing.
HOW
The discussion should be focused on the content of the material since the aim of the Christophany Group is to deepen our understanding and to form new horizons of insight. Allow spiritual insights to emerge from the discussions.
CHOOSE A FACILITATOR
The facilitator helps to administer, guide, and organize the group but is not the “head” of the group. This position can rotate.
REGISTER YOUR GROUP
This is not a requirement but we would love to learn about your group, location, and discussions. We will also be able to let you know if others are looking to join an Christophany Group in your area.
THE MEETING
Start and end with a prayer or by reading a small passage, as you would with Lectio Divina. The facilitator should open the discussion. Be sure to allow for pauses of silence.
