Christophany Groups Update

Dear Christophany Groups and others interested in the C4C vision for wholeness and a constructive future!
We have started Coffee Hours for you to appreciate C4C’s work and vision.  The next one is June 26 at 1:00 p.m.   The theme for this month is “Seeing Anew.”
The opportunity for changing perceptions is one of our most fortunate human capacities.  Yet, with such volatile change happening all around us, it is hard sometimes to engage change; we want to hold on to what we can know and count on predictability and security. Traditions are good and can provide us meaning, especially, though, when connected with the risk of creating a future based on radical loving.   The Christophany groups are focused, self-selected communities that foster the wisdom for conscious change with a view of evolution, technology, and religious insight in stunning cooperation.
We should not be surprised given this season in our liturgical calendars:  Ascension to Pentecost.  Jesus, Yeshua as he would have been called in his Jewish community,  ascended, returning to God,  after appearing to disciples and others for 40 days after his crucifixion and resurrection.   Then ten days later he kept his promise to all of those he had invited to join in serving God and humanity when the Holy Spirit descended on the crowd gathered at Pentecost, or Shuvuot, in the Jewish tradition.  Flames of Spirit empowered all present to understand one another regardless of a particular language spoken. Perceptions changed as a new community was born.
We are part of that inheritance now.  Our Christophany groups are working to be inclusive communities where the vision of the unity of Love at the heart of our universe is fast informing all religion and scientific inquiry.  Are you “seeing anew?”  Are we able to help advance the dialogue between science and religion on behalf of this wholeness we have as our aspiration?

Please consider joining a Christophany group to be part of the wave of a future that is constructive, innovative, and, above all, peaceful and loving.

Thanks,
Rebecca Mays

This group looks wonderfully interesting, is it limited to Vancouver or are there groups in other areas (I live in Easton, PA)?
